What's different about the R60 and other PowerFilm rollable panel models compared to the foldable solar panels?
The R60 and other rollable solar panels have an extra level of of weather-proofing applied, so they can be used in marine and wet weather environments. It's never a good idea to leave your solar chargers in standing water, but the R60 can handle rain, waves (if used on a boat), and snow. Q:
Is there a rollable solar panel larger than 60 watts? A:
No, but a good solution is to use the two R60 rollable solar panels with an RA-6-HD
daisy chain cable. This will give you a combined wattage of 120 watts. Also this is a good idea if you are charging with a lot of trees, as you can place the chargers in different places to capture sun on at least one panel at different times of the day. You could even daisy chain 3 or 4 together, but then a larger gauge cable would be required.
